Hyryla Junior high school took a step to diminish their carbon foot print.

Hyryla Junior high school has implemented Green Snapper. Green Snapper was initially installed for observing how computers are turned on and off. The results showed how Green Snapper could reduce energy costs.

Usually the personnel and the students are advised to turn computers off, but in fact often only displays are turned off while the computer stays on.

Pilot tests in the city of Vantaa indicate that by using Green Snapper, over 100.000 euros could be saved annually.
