Petri I. Salonen invited to join Ravensoft Ltd. board

Globalization expert Dr. Petri I. Salonen joins Ravensoft Ltd. Board of Directors.

Ravensoft Ltd. shareholdes have appointed Petri I. Salonen to its Board of Directors. Ph.D. (Econ.) Salonen, 42, is a Managing Director of Tellus International, a company facilitating trans-Atlantic market entry for European technology companies.

Dr. Salonen has 15 years of expertise in assisting Finnish companies in their efforts to set up North American operations. "We recently launched a new software product called Green Snapper. It is aimed to cut electricity consumption of IT desktop environments. Petri's expertise is invaluable to us since we aim for international markets with the Green Snapper Solution", said Managing Director Jaakko Salminen. 

Petri Salonen strongly believes in Ravensoft's strategy: "The timing for the product launch could not be better. Environmental awareness is growing fast among companies and consumers. Cleantech is a hot topic in US today."

In addition to Salonen, the members of Ravensoft's board are Jari Laurila, chairman and Patrik Rosqvist, Partner. "Petri helps Ravensoft develop Corporate Governance. He gives a new perspective to business and helps evaluate strategic options.", said Jari Laurila, chairman, Ravensoft Ltd.
